New Civil War Museum
Home:
Lynchburg is now home to the National Civil War Chaplains Museum. It is the only Museum in the country dedicated to the role of Chaplains and religions during the Civil War. There are wonderful displays, beautiful hand painted murals and interesting artifacts. The Museum is located adjacent to Doc's Diner on Liberty Mountain Dr. It will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays, and other times by appointment.
